Deflagration, In-Line Flame Arrester MTP flame arresters and breather valves are certified compliant with European ATEX and PED directives where applicable.
MTP can supply different types of end of line deflagration arresters, suitable for a wide variety of industries and applications. AVA, FE-EXH, and AVC arresters have replaceable elements and are suitable for IIA, IIB3, and IIC gas groups respectively. SV and SVE arresters are small, light-duty arresters with fixed elements, whilst FE-IE arresters are for use with pressure and/or vacuum relief valves. End-of-line deflagration arresters are designed to be installed at the end of a pipeline or exit vent from a vessel, where the ignition source is external, to provide protection against atmospheric deflagration.
We offer a series end-of-line deflagration arresters specifically designed to be used in conjunction with pressure/vacuum relief valves, to prevent propagation of flames in gas or vapour mixtures. These arresters are specifically designed to be located below the inlet of a pressure/vacuum relief valve, thereby providing an extra layer of tank protection.
