MTP 121 Series non-sparking emergency relief manhole covers permit access to low pressure storage tanks and provide emergency venting capacity in the event of fire. They are used extensively on bulk storage tanks, including floating roof tanks.

121 Series are manufactured by MTP in our UK manufacturing plant to exacting quality standards and backed by over 40 years experience. Sizes range from 10" (250mm) to 24" (600mm).

122 Series Emergency Manway

Pressure and Vacuum Relief

MTP 122 Series non-sparking emergency relief manhole covers permit access to low pressure storage tanks and provide emergency venting capacity in the event of fire.

The unit is fitted with an additional spring-loaded vacuum valve that will open under negative pressure, protecting the tank from any over-vacuum damage.

They are used extensively on bulk storage tanks.

171 Access Manway

Access Manhole Cover for Bulk Storage Tanks

MTP 171 Series of non-sparking low pressure manhole covers provide easy access to low pressure storage tanks for maintenance and cleaning purposes.

The manhole is secured by a transverse beam which is attached to the centre of the cover. This ensures even distribution of the holding down force to form a gas tight fitting to 2.5psig.

171 Series are manufactured by MTP in our UK manufacturing plant to exacting quality standards and backed by over 40 years experience. Sizes range from 18" (450mm) to 24" (600mm).
