Storage Tank Fittings
MTP Storage Tank Fittings manufacture an established range of fittings which have been installed on storage tanks in the petrochemical, Chemical and Food industry worldwide. The Range includes the following:
- Level Gauges
- Pressure and Vacuum Relief Valves
- Manhole Covers
- Vents
- Gauge Hatches
- Flame Arresters
Standard materials of construction are Aluminium, Cast Iron, Carbon Steel and Stainless Steel. MTP pay careful attention to quality as well as improvement in manufacturing techniques.
Manufacturing Capabilities
MTP Storage Tank Fittings Department undertakes nearly all of it’s own manufacturing procedures. This is a policy which brings important customer advantages relating to control of quality and delivery times.
The range of storage Tank Fittings are manufactured in a custom built factory built on the same site as the original Bold Iron Works. With facilities that include a comprehensive machine shop, assembly areas, shot blasting section, surface preparation area, testing zone and despatch room.
Every product is fully tested and inspected before leaving the factory and the MTP engineers are specialists in this equipment. Over the years MTP have produced many thousands of their tank fittings from this factory.
The complete design and manufacture is under the control of our own engineers and material controllers.
